If you're following us on Instagram you would've seen that we have started using The Ordinary's Lactic Acid 10% + HA.
We are always on the lookout for new exfoliants that are gentle on our skin but also get the job done. The Ordinary's Lactic Acid solution is an alpha hydroxy acid that mildly exfoliates your skin leaving you feeling fresh & clean.
This solution slowly breaks down dead skin cells and when used in conjunction with a good facial cleanser, you are able to help clean your pores of dirt & other nasties that get in there just through living your life, and keep them clean! You use the Lactic Acid daily at night after you have cleansed, toned and applied your serums but before your moisturiser.
So what are our favourite things about this product?
1. We can feel it working.
When applied to the skin, you can feel the slightest of tingles (this does go away as you get used to the product) but for us, it validates that the product is working on our skin. You can also feel the product soak into your skin so you know you're getting all that goodness - we hate when we apply a product and it sits on the skin leaving you feeling oily & greasy.
2. The results our skin is showing.
So many comments! Our skin has never looked better - people keep saying how clean & smooth it looks and that there is an added freshness. We have never received this many compliments in such a short period of time - it normally takes more than a week for us to notice the difference in our skin!
3. It costs a total of $12.70
Yep - you read that right. $12.70! This is one of our favourite things about The Ordinary - they're all about providing a skincare range that has a high amount of less ingredients and giving it to us at an affordable price. Hallelujah! If you haven't tried them already, now's your chance.
So that's it all wrapped up - Lactic Acid gives you the results & is totally 100% affordable to mix into your beauty regime.
